30 days

A month in the south

Thirty days from Chennai to Goa, with nothing left out.

All journeys

Our longest journey.

It crosses the peninsula twice: down the Coromandel coast through the Chola country to Madurai, over the Ghats into Kerala for the tea, the backwaters and the coast, then north through Mysore and Coorg to Hampi and Badami, finishing in Goa. A month sounds long, but most stops are two or three nights, so a good part of it is spent staying put.
