14 days
The hills of the south
Munnar, the Nilgiris, Mudumalai and Coorg: fourteen days in the cool of the hills.
All journeys
A journey that stays in the hills.
It follows the Western Ghats rather than crossing them: Munnar first, then over to Pollachi and up to Coonoor in the Nilgiris, down into the forests of Mudumalai, and north into the coffee country of Kodagu before coming down to Mysore. Three states, one mountain range, and cooler air most of the way.
