An old boat on a beach in the Andaman Islands

13 days

The Taj Mahal and the Andaman Islands

A week in the Mughal north, then the islands of the Bay of Bengal.

All journeys

An unusual pairing that works well.

Delhi, Jaipur and Agra first, by bicycle where the traffic allows. Then a flight to Port Blair and the ferry to Havelock Island, for its beaches and reef and a few days with nothing planned. The Cellular Jail at Port Blair, on the way home, stays with most people long afterwards.
